We got back out to Bear Mountain and as it has been every year, it got a little better this year and we managed to raise a little more money. On behalf of the SportAssist Board of Directors, we wish to extend to you our deepest appreciation to everyone who participated in the 13th Annual SportAssist Golf Tournament.
Our sponsors, volunteers and players all made the event possible. A special thanks to our celebrities and entertainers who came out “King Richard” Brodeur, Eileen Kelly, Bobby Bruce (Neil Diamond), Izzy Gorman and Ken Mason who helped make the day a little more fun.
It will raise the bar for next year having been a tremendous success, and will help make a big difference in the lives of the kids we serve. Thanks to you, many children will be immersed in sports that they may never have thought was an obtainable goal.
